On 20th June, the AgriChemWhey partners met in Ireland for the project’s second consortium meeting. The meeting was held at the premises of Glanbia, the project’s coordinator.
Each work package leader presented how their work had been progressing so far and what their next steps and actions were going to be. This included the project management and overview, a technical update on the progress of the installation of the pilot plant, an engineering update on the building and commissioning of the flagship biorefinery, evaluation and market validation and future replicability, and an update of communication, dissemination and exploitation efforts made in the project.
During the day the consortium was given a tour of the (at that time) near the completed pilot plant and analytical chemistry labs, and shown the site which will be used for the Flagship Biorefinery.
